Ryan Camara, Kalani and Marietou Camara at the National MENC Confderence

Kalani and Ryan M. Camara are dynamic conference presenters who combine expert technical instruction with innovative processess with roots in Western, Orff and African teaching methods to provide unique and inspiring experiences for teachers, students and aspiring musicians alike.

As a classically trained musician, music therapist and level III certified ORFF specialists, Kalani brings proven methods and uparralleled technical expertise and professional facilitation to any group. Ryan M. Camara spent the better part of the last 12 years immersed in the traditional music, dance and culture of West Africa learning to speak the language of Susu and of the jembe and dunduns. Together they offer one of the most compelling and authentic educational experiences for Music Educators, ORFF specialists, and community teachers and facilitators.

Kalani, Ryan and the World Rhythms Arts Program advocate a holistic multiple-discipline approach to arts education utilizing culturally authentic drumming, dance, and language to cultivate essential music, movement and life skills while fostering a respect and appreciation for other cultures and inspiring a life-long connection to the arts.
